Outside Please!

Dallin has become obsessed with going outside. His new favorite hangout is looking out the window by our back door. A couple of times I swore he even said the word outside. He will go to one of our doors and point to the door knob when he wants to go outside and play. If he doesn't get his way, then he starts stumping one foot and crying. Last week was hard because it rained so much which brought cooler weather (we are grateful for the rain of course but it sure made life miserable.) A little one year old doesn't understand the words wet and cold. Well one day when we got out of the car, Dallin discovered a new toy. He is now obsessed with it.

A plunger and an empty gas can. Even better...

Priceless expression (very mischievous). Although the garage isn't the cleanest place, it sure made a happy little boy.

Now that the sun has come out this week, we are no longer playing in the garage, but exploring new places. Our friend Dawn invited Dallin and me to Market Street to run through the fountains. It was Dallin's first time and after some apprehension, he really got into it.

Swinging in the water

Right up the butt!

Trying to catch the water

With the sun comes Popsicles! Dallin loves these too.
The little tear in his eye was from a second earlier when he got mad that he couldn't have my Popsicle too. Temper tantrums are starting all ready....

How fun, to have a little one like that... enjoy it. We also are sad not to be at the fountain. Something I miss as so do the kiddo's. By the way, their favorite toys are always the ones they aren't suppose to have.
