Pausing to look for airplanes. Dallin can find an airplane or helicopter anywhere!
After awhile the ball gets boring and Dallin will want to help me garden.
Really, not helping. Pull the weeds not the flowers!
And then daddy comes home. Dallin will run up to the car to help daddy drive the car into the garage.

You should write a "if you give a mouse a cookie book". I'm thinking: "If you give a boy a ball, he will want to go outside=>he will want to look for airplanes=>he will want to cross the street to chase after them. because you bring him back to the lawn=>he will want to help you garden=> etc. etc.
He is so darling! Fun that he loves balls and planes!
Scout loves the ball, too. I bet if we put them together they'd entertain each other for hours.
Dallin is so cute! Nikki keeps me updated with your family news. :) Sounds like you guys are loving life!
