We are making daily trips to the hospital to visit baby Lily and
enjoying any time we get to hold or feed her. On Monday we took the
boys so that they could look through the window and meet their sister.
That was really fun for Zane and I to see. I can't wait until they can
hold her. She was put in a warmer because she was using too many
calories trying to keep warm and losing weight. On Tuesday we were able
to hold Liliane again and feed her for the first time. It was a
special experience and wonderful to start getting to know her. Liliane
was still losing weight so on Wednesday, a feeding tube was put in. Her
doctor said this is very typical for a 35 week old baby. She is being
fed every three hours with every other feeding through the feeding
tube. The feeding tube is working and she gained weight (back to 4
pounds.) The doctor estimated she will be in the hospital for another
week. We then wait for the state of Utah to let us leave which could
take another week. Our goal is to make it back by Christmas!

Since you are resizing your pics now, you should resize them a little bigger : ) I want more close ups of that cute girl!
It's a wonderful, but such a stressful time. My sister's twins were around 4 pounds at birth and had to be in the NICU for several days. You'd never know it to look at them now! I'm sure you can't wait to get her home. What a memorable Christmas you are having!
The first feeding is so special. I'm so happy for you and Zane!
